It is "custom" in our faith to not wear makeup. I believe that if it doesn't go against your pastor, it is okay to wear makeup, lightly. Especially if it is your wedding.
Consider your wedding pictures. You want your face to have a smooth and natural look to it. Remember that the point of wearing makeup at your Apostolic wedding is to not really notice the makeup, but your beautiful face. Not to mention, the groom probably won't care for too much makeup anyway.
Tips for wearing makeup at your wedding:
1. Choose a natural looking foundation. This MUST match the color of your face. Cover Girl makes a great powdery liquid foundation.
2. A powder for touching up is good as well. Make sure that it matches as well and don't overdo it.
3. Go with a very natural light brown for an eyeliner. This should not even be noticeable, but it should cause your eyes to stand out a little.
4. Go with a very blush lipgloss. Choose a soft color that will bring out your lips more, but not too much.
5. French manicures and pedicures are great for anytime and especially nice for a wedding. If you don't like French manicures, go with a very light pink so that you can barely see it. The point to this is to enhance the beauty of your hands.
Go with your natural insticts to make you stand out but make sure that your God given beauty stays glowing through this wonderful wedding day.

Love the ideas! sometimes wearing make-up makes a woman feel feminine. I believe it can way overboard these days. This is an awesome way to have both!
